Gwen effing Stefani.

From braces to No Doubt to her Harajuku days to L.A.M.B. to The Voice, Gwen has conquered it all, and she’s not stopping anytime soon.

She is an inspiration to me.  Her signature punk and edgy look is iconic.

First off, being a front woman for an amazing punk band is already the coolest thing, but she has successfully had a solo career and currently is creating the most amazing clothing for her fashion label, L.A.M.B.  Also I’m probably going to watch The Voice to see what she’s rocking.

I think what really made me love Gwen was when I watched this VOGUE video about her iconic Vivienne Westwood corset that she rocked in the “Spiderwebs” music video.  She explained how she just had this vision for the music video and knew that she needed the corset.

I am the same way. When I see something, I get a vision in my head and I just need to have it.  Clothes stand for something so much more than looks.  It is the vibe, the experience and what you want others to feel.
